Who is Meenaxi Natrajan?

After the 2008 election we had seen many young MPs entering the Loksabha.TV and newspaper flashes the young MPs like Sachin pilot,Jitin Prasada,Jyoti scindia,Sandeep Dikshit,Hamidullah Sayeed,Milind Deora,Agatha Sangma,Supriya pawar,Akilesh yadav,Jayant Choudhary not to forget Varun gandhi.Read their last names again,we wil know who they are!!!!! I think in India as long as you are not relative of a politician or an actor the chances of you standing for election is negligible in any big party. Political parties dont care about grass root workers I meant DMK too..As I was going through the young MPs list,the name Meenaxi Natrajan hit me hard.Hold on..hold on..How can a south Indian win in MP.Media had reported congress was routed in Madhya pradesh,to my knowledge only Scindia and Kamal nath alone are MPs from MP. Here I go, I googled about Meenaxi Natrajan.My first guess was she might be relative of Jayathi Natrajan who is grand-daughter of Bakthvasalam but I was wrong. Meenaxi is Congress LokSabha candidate from Mandasur Constituency,She is just 36 years old. she won against BJP candidate Laxmi narayan pandey, who is 76 yrs old.He was MP from 1971 and she was born in 1973.How can the people of Mandsaur elect some one with South Indian link.Iam sure the people wont associate a “Natrajan” to be one among them.She being AICC secretary might have helped her get a seat and defeat who is more experienced then her.She seems to be social worker with no hunger for power(minister) not like others around Rahul gandhi.She had worked with Baba Amte, one of her icons apart from Anna Hazare and Sunderlal Bahuguna.After taking oath as MP,she travelled by train back to her Mandsaur carrying a tiffin box and two bags over her shoulder and dressed in a simple cotton salwar kameez.
Time for KK to make some changes in DMK..Atleast Stalin needs to wake up like Rahul to give seats for grass root workers..Why not Rahul send her to TN.Wake up Vasan,Elango,Thangablu..etc
All these days I thought to be MP you need Money or Muscle or Family. Meenaxi Natrajan proved me and many people like me wrong.

Eagles Flies, Giants Cries

Did any one expect Philadelphia eagles to reach NFC finals..Not me..I was one of the Eagle Fans in Dec 1st week upset with the team and asking to revamp the team sacking Coach Andy reid and the Quarter back Mcnab.I was shocked when McNab said he doesnt know the rules about tie against browns.But The game against Cowboys turned around..They just scraped through the points table now eagles are knocking the door for Super Bowl.On sunday Eagles Beat the defending champion Giants in a 23-11 victory at Giants Stadium.Eagles gonna crush cardinals,the score difference will be more than 20.They are all set to fly High.Now they are the team to Watch for Super Bowl.Go Eagles Go....

Satyam - True Lies

Last week,I was watching in MSNBC about financial frauds in USa..From Bernard Madoff to Lehman brothers..It showed how conman cheat investors through PONZI Scheme.I said to myself this will never happen in India..As we have many Independent monitoring cells.from SEBI to Registrate of Companies working under ministry of corporate affairs to check and scrutinize wrong doing companies. We have Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) which monitors the auditors work ethics cancel their membership if they do something wrong.Here comes Satyam to show we Indians too manipulate the balance sheet.After reading Raju's letter,he was clever enough to protect others and he alone be scape goat to say the employees and his family members are not aware of all the balance sheet manipulation..Hold on..Hold on..everyone who follow Stock market know that in mid 2008, it was said top executives of Satyam who were having holdings Employee shares options were selling large quantities -like 10000 -20000 shares.I pity for Raju, he is not other fraudsters like Harshad metha or Bimal Dalal to cheat the investors.He had built Satyam from scratch to one of the top companies in the world.He would have fire in his belly to do anything to reach the paramount.This idea must have been given by Auditors,not is own.The falsification of accounts by Raju for the past several years has put a question mark on the very survival of its auditor, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
The audit firm Pricewaterhouse,one of the world's top auditing firms in the wolrd.In India Pricewaterhouse is already in deep trouble in relation to its suspect auditing of the collapsed Global Trust Bank, for which it is being probed by the disciplinary committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). ICAI said they are going to punish the tainted CAs involved, why those innocent CAs who had to work and sign what their company PWC ask them to do.Instead of filing a complaint against scam-hit software exporter Satyam Computer Services for "cheating shareholders and investors".I would give ask Indian judiciary to make him as advisor member of these monitoring cells.(Just like the movie Catch me if you can).
We would be seeing similar financial frauds designed and be executed by other financial wizards to prevent this Raju needs to be advisor to Company affairs or SEBI or ICAI.The company financial records are scrutinized by independent auditors annually only after which the company balance sheets are declared. SEBI needs to be pro-active and not wait for information from newspapers and magazines.SEBI is there to protect the Investors.Forget ICICI or LIC or L&T who have more than 5% stake in Satyam individually which every newspaper talks about.What about the small investors, who must have invested their savings or retirement pension money

Right now let us leave Satyam and Raju alone.SEBI,ICAI and Company Affairs/Financial Minister of Government of India owes an explanation to the nation for allowing Fraud under their nose.

Happy Newyear 2009

Wishing you all Happy new year.I hope we can woes of the economy aside and enjoy immense prosperity this 2009.Iam odd man out during the new year celebration..I dont remember when I was the last time I was outside during the new year celebration???That was in 2005 Newyear celebration and that was the first time too.Last year I was in Dubai celebrating in Melwyns's house with Rajesh kanna,Relesh and Melwyn's family.Time had gone so fast.The year 2008 had good and bad days,not to forget those worst days too that can never which I cant forget.When good things happen they fall in my lap. Any way 2008 was good year for me I move ahead entering 2009 with positive mindset.I hope this year will bring the best days of my life.Newyear always makes me to write a list of new year resolutions.I had never kept those,it is just in paper.This year I plan to lose weight,may be 10 pounds before Feb 10th.From my work environment side, I need to learn new something new,get more into Oracle Apps.But the goal which I need to achieve this year.Get..set for GMAT..go for it..study hard and try to get good marks which will allow me to join good Business school for part time MBA.

Merry Christmas

Wishing my blog readers Merry Christmas...Christmas was the festival I like the most though Iam not a christian,it must be bcos I studied in a christian school.The carol singing during those cold days.I used to wonder why they celebrate using Christmas tree,it is bcos the only tree that doesnt shed leaves during winter.The long winter holidays from Christmas was the best days in the year.Who hates Holidays!!New year..new beginning.!!!My parents had allowed me to be part of the celebration.There is no Christmas in my house without cakes.Iam sure my father still continues buying cakes and pastries on that day.During Christmas I always received gifts from my parents.I would call it New year gift.It is the time my Dad receives Bonus..When I ask my dad for expensive gifts he buys it for me.Yes, the real meaning of Christmas is sharing Gifts.But in USA everything looks different during the Christmas.Shopping had overshadowed the celebration of Christmas.It looks another day of thanksgiving.People forgot the birth of Christ and think about gifts.People who are materialistic and over spending must understand that the best gift Jesus received were from the shepherds and not the expensive ones from three wise men.

Election day..Vote smart

Today is Election day in USA.Americans dont elect president of USA,they elect the world leader.After 20 months of campaigns there are two candidates in fray.I had predicted Obama will be the next president on feb 10th 2007, you know why??Bcos he had chosen my birthday to declare his presidency.But I had expected the fight between Dennis kucinich and Ron paul.Will America choose a black man or an old man to be their next president? So sad that I cant Vote.But I was thousand's of non-Americans who voted whenever there was online/sms poll after the Debate.Now you know how Ron paul won all the Debates held online or by text message.Many wont support Obama, labeling him as terrorist or socialist but he didnt choose a dumb candidate for VP.He had chosen a VP candidate who can help him in foreigner affairs, and make USA strong and secure.Mccain says he puts Nation first.By choosing a VP candidate who dont know what is happening around her.Though he did it to get Hillary voters.How can someone compare Hillary with Pailin.How did Mccain miss Mitt Romney or Bobby Jindal.When John McCain revealed his pick for Vice President, I was certain that I wanted to support Obama and his VP Joe Biden.As they say in Philadelphia, Biden is third Senator of Pennsylvania,as Delaware needs to demand on Philadelphia from SEPTA to TV.If I were an American I would vote for Obama. I believe he’s the right man at the right time.

Phantastic phinish for Phillies

What a night for the Philadelphia Baseball Fans..The national game of USa..Phillies winning the world series.Though I don't belong to this city of brotherly love,I have been here for last 2 yrs and I do love this city a lot..forget the crime rate this city is crazy for sports.I don't remember the last time I was awake at 2AM in the morning to watch a sport in TV,that too sport which I dont understand.The third game went all the way till early morning on Saturday after the game was postponed for 2 hrs because of bad climate. I admire the sports loving fans.When I was in downtown I had seen proud Philadelphians showing off their city team love by wearing the green eagles or red phillies jersy to office.Championship-starved Philadelphia fans, deserve this victory.Hats off to the City of Brotherly Love and the Phillies, back in the World Series for the first time since 1983.Philadelphia has not had a champion since the NBA’s 76ers defeated the Lakers in 1983.I used to envy the cities like Boston and New york where they are in all sports finals.The Boston celtics winning the basketball NBA,the Newyork giants in football NFL and the Boston redsox in baseball MBL.But city like Philadelphia we dont see often in any of this championship.Some blame the Penn's curse for Philly’s title drought in the four major sports.It all started in 1987, when the Liberty Place skyscraper rose higher than the statue of William Penn that sits atop City Hall. Prior to that, a gentleman's agreement had been in place, mandating that no building could exceed the height of the city's founding father.When buildings arose the curse grew louder, when the Comcast tower was completed this year, the sports loving Phillies asked the mayor office to install Small Penn on the top of comcast building, and now there is small penn in the comcast tower.Let me talk like Philles Phan,using all P words.Yes, it is Phantastic phinish for Phillies,and the Phans love it,It's Phandemonium after Phils won the title after there was tension in downtown during the victory celebration.Windows were smashed at a bank and luggage store in the downtown shopping district. At least two cars were overturned, the windows of a TV van were smashed, dozens of huge streetside planters were flipped over and some bus shelters were damaged or destroyed.How can a day go without violence in this city of brotherly love.This Phriday Phillies are gonna have Victory Pharade in Phroad street.For my readers in India..Viswanathan Anand retained the world title with a draw against Russian Vladimir Kramnik in the World Chess Championship final in Bonn, Germany.Where are the oldies Kaprov and Gary Kasparov.They are in Russian Politics.Can any one tell me how many seconds help Anand,last time I got news He plays with 4 seconds..Second in chess means Assistants to help him in game.
